As the first Ninja World Tournament is about to open, in order to let you more understand the rules and matters needing attention, we specially prepared for you the Ninja World Tournament related FAQ. If you have questions about the Ninja World Tournament, please check the following content first.

 

I. Frequently asked Questions and Answers before the Tournament

 

1. What are the qualification requirements for the Ninja World Tournament?

The qualification requirements for the Ninja World Tournament are as follows:

- Ninja Rank reached Elite III

- The highest level of 3v3 Arena Season 1 reached Elite V

 

2. When is the competition time for the Ninja World Tournament?
Please refer to the in-game announcement for the competition time of the Ninja World Tournament, subject to the announcement time of each division.

3. Which characters can be used in this Ninja World Tournament?
This Ninja World Tournament can use five characters: Kuro, Riki, Rin, Souga, and Pepper. Each character has its own competition, and only the corresponding character can be used during the competition period.

4. Will the Ninja World Tournament be divided into divisions?
This Ninja World Tournament will be divided into divisions, and the events in each division will be kept independent, with no cross-division matches.

5. What is the competition format of the Ninja World Tournament?
The Ninja World Tournament adopts a 1V1 battle format, but the map uses the 3v3 Arena map, and the cards are inherited from the 3v3 cards.

6. What is the rule for the grouping of the Ninja World Tournament?
This Ninja World Tournament is divided into Group A and Group B. When FIRST tapping to enter each Ninja's match in the Tournament page, players will be grouped. Players who reach the highest rank of Warrior V and above in this season's 3V3 Arena will be assigned to Group A. The remaining players who meet the qualification requirements will be assigned to Group B.

7. What is the difference between Group A and Group B?
Only players assigned to Group A can enter the final Knockout Stage through the competition and compete for the championship. The map difficulty of Group B will be lower than that of Group A, and Group B only has point matches, with no knockout matches.

8. What are the Points Race and Knockout Stages respectively?
The Points Race and Knockout Stages are two parts of the competition, and the two parts are relatively independent. The Points Race is the first stage of the Ninja World Tournament, where players need to defeat their opponents to earn points and determine the top 16 based on the total points earned. The Knockout Stage is the second part of the Ninja World Tournament, where the top 16 players in Group A Points Race Stage will compete in the Knockout Stage and ultimately determine the strongest player.

9. What are the specific competition format and rules of the Points Race Stage?
- The Points Race Stage in Group A has a Battlefield Difficulty of Elite or Hard, and the Points Race Stage in Group B has a Battlefield Difficulty of Normal.
- In the Points Race Stage, players have initial points, and after each battle, if they win, they will gain points, and if they lose, they will lose points.
- After the Points Race Stage, the top 16 players in Group A points ranking will enter the Knockout Stage.

10. What are the specific competition format and rules of the Knockout Stage?
- The Knockout Stage is divided into five phases: Eighth-final, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, Third-Place Final and Grand Final.
- The Map Difficulty of the Knockout Stage is all Dangerous.
- Participants in the Knockout Stage can receive rewards for each match, with different rewards for winning and losing.
- Participants in the Knockout Stage will receive rewards based on their final ranking, and the rewards will be distributed after the Knockout Stage is over.

11. What is the Preset Ninja?
To ensure that all participants can better participate in the Ninja World Tournament, we have introduced the Preset Ninja mechanism. The event will provide ninjas with fixed attributes, weapons, and relics, and players can choose to use this ninja to compete in the Points Race and Knockout Stages. More detailed content can be found in the game rules.

12. What is the prize prediction?
To allow more ninjas to participate in this Ninja World Tournament, we have set up a prize prediction session during the Knockout Stage. Once the Knockout Stage bracket is determined, ninjas can participate in the prediction and receive corresponding rewards after correctly predicting the winner. The prize prediction is divided into two parts: Knockout Stage win/lose prediction and Championship Prediction.

13. What are the participation requirements for the prize prediction?
To participate in the prize prediction, you need to meet two conditions: Ninja rank reaches Elite 3 stars and complete the 3V3 Training Camp.

14. What are the specific rules for the Knockout Stage win/lose prediction?
Ninjas can vote during the preparation stage between each stage of the Knockout Stage, and each match can only vote one ticket and cannot be changed. If the player who voted wins, they can receive rewards.

15. What are the specific rules for Champion Prediction?
- When the Knockout Stage Bracket is determined, players can participate in the Championship Prediction and receive corresponding rewards for correct prediction.
- Players can participate in Champion Prediction before the beginning of the Semifinal stage. According to the different time when players participate in Champion Prediction, the rewards for correct prediction will be different. The earlier ninjas predict, the better rewards they can get after successful prediction~
- Each ninja can only predict one champion player, and the prediction cannot be changed after that.

16. What is the Honor Ninja Rank?
The Honor Ninja Rank refers to the time-limited Ninja Rank that participating players receive based on the Points Race Stage ranking and Knockout Stage ranking of each ninja after the Knockout Stage is over.
The Honor Ninja Rank will be distributed uniformly after the Knockout Stage is over.


17. How long is the validity period of the Honor Ninja Rank?
The time-limited Honor Ninja Rank obtained in this Ninja World Tournament will be valid until the start of the next Ninja World Tournament, and the obtained Honor Ninja Rank can be used in the Special Ninja Rank interface.

 

II. Common Questions & Answers during the Tournament


1. Can I apply for a rematch if I experience crashes, glitches, lag, or other issues during the tournament?
We are sorry about such a situation, but in order to protect the fairness of the competition and the interests of all players, we currently do not support rematches. Therefore, please make sure to check your device and network before the tournament to avoid affecting the competition.
※ This does not include cases where the fairness of the tournament is affected by major bugs.

2. If I have doubts about the fairness of the competition, what should I do?
If you find that a participant is using cheating methods during the tournament, please report the following information to customer service:
- The UID of the player
- The time of the match
- The Replay ID of the match
We will strictly verify the player's match data, and once the cheating behavior is confirmed, we will severely punish the player. The fairness of the Ninja World Tournament needs our joint protection, and we welcome righteous reports from Ninjas.

3. If I find a bug that affects the fairness of the competition, what should I do?
If you find a bug that affects the fairness of the competition, please provide the following information to customer service for feedback:
- The time when the bug occurred
- A specific description of the bug
- The steps to trigger the bug
- The Replay ID/screenshot of the corresponding battle
After you provide the above information, we will immediately check the issue. The fairness of the Ninja World Tournament needs our joint maintenance, and we thank the ninjas for their valuable information~

4. Can I ask someone to play on my behalf in the Ninja World Tournament?
Ninja Must Die Team strictly prohibits acting on behalf or using bugs and other cheating behaviors. Once confirmed, all rewards already obtained will be canceled, and appropriate sanctions will be imposed on the account. In severe cases, the account will be permanently banned.

5. Why is the screen I see in the battle/spectating not consistent with the actual progress of the competition?
Participants may see different match progress due to network latency issues during battle and spectating, and the match results are subject to server judgment.

6. I can't vote during the knockout stage. Is this a bug?
According to the prediction rules, players in the knockout stage cannot vote in the matches they participate in.

7. Why can't I receive the prediction reward?
You can claim the prediction rewards for the Knockout Stage before the end of the Grand Final. If you haven't claimed the rewards for the corresponding match, please click the "left arrow" at the top of the match interface to return and claim the rewards. After the Grand Final is over, the prediction rewards during the Knockout Stage will not be claimable.

About 18 hours after the match ends, the rewards for Champion Prediction will not be claimable. Therefore, please claim your rewards in time to avoid missing the claiming period.
